QUESTION OF THE MONTHFor a competition horse, and assuming there is not a specific problem, at what point in a competition horse's life should injections of Legend, etc, be given to help preserve that horse's ability to perform? ANSWERI would start at the point the horse starts working. That would be different depending on the type of horse. For example a WarmBlood may not start working until 4-5 or 6, where as a QH or TB would start at 2-3. The idea is to have the support on board before the horse really starts working. |
